Rio Cristal Resources Corporation (RCR) is a Canadian based junior exploration company focused on the discovery and further development of zinc, copper and gold deposits in Peru. A particular strength of the Company is our outstanding Board of Directors who have an outstanding record of success in the minerals industry, particularly in Peru. RCR's shares are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, Venture Segment and the Bolsa de Valores de Lima (Lima Stock Exchange).

The Company's flagship property is the 18,000 hectare Bongará zinc exploration project in northern Peru. Outstanding initial drilling results confirm that the project is part of an important emerging Mississippi Valley-type zinc district, which is also being explored aggressively by Votorantim Metais, a large Brazilian conglomerate. The Company has begun a second drill campaign in 2011 and results are expected in the 3rd quarter.

The Company recently acquired a highly prospective copper oxide project, La Cumbre, in southern Peru and is currently in the process of obtaining drilling permits. The Company believes there is potential for zones of bulk-mineable copper oxide mineralization grading in excess of 2% copper at the property. Additionally there is potential for copper sulfide mineralization in a belt hosting iron oxide copper-gold deposits. Extensive recent underground workings indicate a possible resource which could be rapidly quantified with potential for mineralization extensions.
